Now I'd like to share with you my thoughts on all what I thought is wrong with this video.
1. He starts off with saying the famously misquoted phrase that mitt Romney once said that he likes to be able to fire people, and that I can personally say that it's true. He does. Because he fired me!!
Now, I sure hope that none of you think that mitt Romney actually said that, because he didn't! This is a blatant distortion from the democrats of mitt romney's actual statement which he said that he likes the system of capitalism, that you are free to choose for yourself a insurance provider or any business to provide you with services, and if you see that the service provider you chose does not actually provide you with good services then you can go on and fire them. That's what free market is about and that's what mitt Romney likes, and not the socialist views of our current administration.
2. He goes on to say that he does not fault mitt Romney for a business going wrong, cuz that's the way of business, Some succeed, others don't. What he does fault mitt Romney, is for making money without a moral compass. For putting profits before people like me.
Now, as a business owner I can personally tell you that there is NO such thing whatsoever that a business should succeed without being able to fire workers. There are workers that don't do their job as they're supposed to,and you have to fire them. Or there are instances when it turns out that the business has too much workers and they cut deeply into the business profits. The solution is.. To fire a few people!! (maybe in the socialist or communist world it's different, but I'm talking about capitalism)
I don't know this person on the video to be able to say opinions on him. But what I can tell you is that he and the democrats who put him on stage are dead wrong!!
It goes without saying that if this guy was an incompetent worker, that he was ought to be fired and he should only blame himself for his layoff. (or bush...)
But even if this guy was a hard working individual and he got fired from his job, he shouldn't fault anyone. Here's why.
As every sane person knows, a business is not a charity. Nobody opens a business just to be able to give charity. A person who opens a business is doing it to make money and be successful. And as the saying goes that business is business and family is family, and you don't even mix business with your OWN FAMILY, cuz it's a recipe for disaster.
A business is here to make money. Mitt Romney did what was good for his business and when he saw that the business has 300 extra workers who did nothing good for the company, he went and fired them. (which i hope he'll take this model up to the government levels!) Yes ,that's The way a business grows.
You can't accuse me why I don't go out the the new York shelters and take 1000 homeless people and open a business with them. That's not how you can be successful.
The same way, you can't ask a business owner not to reform his company with cutting extra waste or extra workers that the business doesn't need!!
Business wise he spoke non-sense.
Charity wise, he couldn't accuse Mr. Romney for not being moral and not leaving those workers on their jobs. 1. It's a well known fact that the romneys give about 10 million dollars a year for charity 2. It's a well known fact how little the obamas and bidens give for charity every year. Talk about a moral compass. 3.And as I said, the only way to be successful is NOT to mix business with charity or anything else.
3. I found despicable the act what the democrats did to take a person who got fired from his job, and bring him to talk negative on his former employee. The fact is that there's almost no person in the world who leads a business that didn't have to fire any people. And it goes without saying, that every laid off person will have a load of accusations on his former boss.
Yup, and the same goes for mitt Romney.
To take a person who has personal negative feelings against someone, and put him on a stage in front of millions of people to attack his former boss just to push forward your talking points, is despicable. You can do this to every single business owner. Everyone has a former employee angry on him. You can attack the whole free world like this. (except for Obama who actually never led a business!!!)
I also found it very amusing to take a packed convention hall full with people who -as it seems like- despise success Just because they weren't able to get as successful as mitt Romney got, or because they just weren't interested to get off their lazy chairs and stop taking government benefits, and knock down a person who was actually successful in life, and who got to the American dream.
Despicable and sad.
